Breathwork

Breathwork is like maintenance for the body, emotions & mind.
Through deep breaths and connecting our attention fully to our in & exhale, we become present, open up our feeling state and allow ourselves to drop into a state of being and healing.

We can do breathwork in many ways - gentle calming breathing exercises are a great tool to take with you throughout the day. Try this: every time you think of it, take a deep breath. Just one is enough to get a break from the doing-state and arrive in the being-state. You may notice when you do this more often, you get better at remembering the breath in moments that are challenging - eventually it offers a portal to calm and clarity in every situation.

During the group breathing sessions I guide in ceremonies, we work with a more intense breathing practice. Connecting the inbreath with the outbreath, we quickly get into a state where time seems to stand still and you can journey deeper into yourself. Feelings may arise, visions may come, bodily sensation might appear. We never know what comes up, but experience teaches that these deeper sessions are a way to connect deeply with yourself, process emotional experiences and gain clarity, space and new energy in your bodily system.

Book a 1-1 session (ademsessie) here or join one of my Cacao & Breathwork events, or the Breath & Meditation morning to learn about these different techniques and practices.
